We have dances on the second Saturday of the month from October through April. The evenings start with basic instruction / review from 7:00-7:30pm and the music and dancing starts at 7:30 and goes to 9:30

High Strung Trio!

High Strung’s performances feature traditional instrumental pieces from Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Québec, Scandinavia and American Old Time music.

Steve Lundgren comes from a long line of fiddlers, first learning American old-time from his father and grandfather as a kid. He became enthralled by traditional Irish music more than 30 years ago. Since then, he has performed professionally at dances, concerts, pubs, and community events. He also currently plays with the Bend Pops Orchestra.

Sandra Peevers is a lifelong guitar player adding mandolin, tin whistle and ukelele in recent years.  She has also produced concerts, represented performing artists, taught music and played concerts and dances through the years. She teaches at Cascade School of Music, for MusicFlow, Sisters Folk Festival Presents and privately. 

 Jon Miller plays just about anything with strings… such as mandolin, banjo, cello and bass.   He grew up with parents who loved all kinds of music and dancing.  Jon’s early exposure to his dad’s player piano rolls, a vast record collection and a family music room filled with different instruments along with music teachers who were “working musicians” who often put the kids on stage before their own audiences all shaped his skill and love of music.
